The Author's Story
This collection was 7 years in the making. I wrote the first story--The Headmaster's Office--in 2013 with no thought of what might happen next. Well, it launched a hobby, and the next 4 books I wrote were all in the same series. Most of the others trickled out in 2014 and 2015 before I started exploring other themes, but I always hoped to go back and finish the series.
When I lost contact with my publisher in late 2018 and had to republish everything on Amazon, I took the opportunity to tidy up Dorm Room Dares for commercial release--you see, only The Headmaster's Office had ever gone to Amazon, and all of them had always been free on various platforms. But if I was going to charge money for them, they needed to be of a standard I could be proud to sell.
Like most authors' early work, these contained many terrible crimes of fiction. Of all the books, only Mannequin and The Headmaster's Office remain virtually unchanged. Fantasy Night was a mess of kinks that I split into two, moving one to the end to help close out the series. Twister was renamed, trimmed by a scene, and moved to the beginning of the series. I rewrote scenes from a different series into Turn For You and Cock By Proxy. I rewrote the male leads of Ingenious Toys and Wedding Cake Island to create Changing Room Climax and Until You Try It. I completely rebuilt Sundara from first person into third person. And I wrote a whole new story, Teacher's Pet, to close out the series.
The whole process took about six months, but now Dorm Room Dares is everything I wanted it to be. I hope it is for you, too.
