Friend Me is the incredible climax in which Anna and Susan explore their ultimate Sapphic fantasy, but perhaps more importantly, they are able to finally declare their secret love to perhaps the only people who could understand — each other.
Okay…How do I say this without sounding like a needy lesbian?? Give me ****ing more!!! ... I should have already learned that BL will deliver, in her own unique way. The interactions between the two characters, while may not be IRL interactions, are so very believable and quite enticing, making me speed read to find out the results faster. I didn’t know at the beginning of this 3rd book whether it would be the final one or not. All I can say is, it better not be (or I may come hunt you down IRL, Ms. LaPage) :D This entire reading experience has made me realize that there are many more ways to tell a story than the traditional way. Please, keep it coming BL. I definitely want more.

The Author's Story
The final chapter of Sapphic Letters was a long time coming. I was determined to continue the journal theme from the first two books - Note To Self as a diary and Hypnotryst as a doctor's case notes - but I couldn't think of another device that would permit a written record of erotic writing. As someone who writes erotica for an internet audience, I realise now that that was pretty sort sighted.
With the theme sorted (the internet - I had it pictured as a cross between a role play and a true confessions series), I needed some material. I've fallen out of touch with the woman who originally inspired Note To Self, but the last contact I had with her, she gave me a scene that she'd like to see played out. Somehow I needed to work that into the story.
Writing erotica about married people can be fraught, and since Anna and Susan both have husbands and kids, I was going to have to tread a fine line with their romance or risk angering some of my readership who value the sanctity of marriage over a steamy same-sex piece on the side. Using the role-play device gave me some flexibility though; a way to blend fact and fiction (or at least, fiction within fiction). Together with the real life scene suggested by my real life muse, I had the plot - real experimentation and sexual tension, followed by emotional dumping and fantasising on the internet.
While the first two books were necessarily constrained erotically because the women couldn't fully give themselves to each other, this one is no holds barred. I hope fans of girl on girl enjoy the higher heat rating.
