Private investigator Pierra is on the trail of a missing person, a young woman named Becca who disappeared without a trace. He almost doesn't recognise her with the plastic surgery and breast enhancements, but there's no doubt in his mind, it's Pierra. The only problem is she doesn't recognise him and claims to be somebody else.
The next day, a young Asian woman, Abbey, shows up on Shane's doorstep. She tells him what happened to Pierra, but her story...it's unbelievable, impossible, and yet, she knows things, intimate things, that only his wife could know. Together, Abbey says, they can save her, but they must hurry. Heaven Can Wait have big plans for Pierra, and soon there might be nothing left to save.

We're all familiar with them: the books with covers showing gorgeous women languishing in the arms of an impossibly chiseled, long-maned hero. There's always going to be some doe-eyed girl that struggles against her feelings for the dark, dangerous man of ill repute and mystery, with her eventually succumbing to her own body's desires in ways that involve phrases like “flower of womanhood.”
This isn't a story like that.
Heaven Can Wait is, quite simply, a romance novel for the modern age. It doesn't shy away from showing you intense sex, and doesn't fail to make you feel every twitch and writhe. It's a tale that makes you wonder about when people are who they think they are- assuming you aren't distracted by the flush creeping down your body. It's a story that peers at the question of our own morality, and our mortality- if you can control the animal side long enough to think about it. With just enough dark imagery to entice, and just enough wrong to be right, Heaven Can Wait will pick you up and refuse to put you down.

The Author's Story
Like a lot of my stories, Heavan Can Wait was inspired by a post on the Literotica Story Ideas forum. A reader Poirot555 wanted to sponsor the creation of a story whereby a woman was abducted and transformed into a protitute, and her husband hired a private detective to track her down. The kink here is the transformation of the wife, and the contrast between the wholesome, susburban woman in the beginning and the prostitute she becomes.
Well, I don't want to give the story away, but I gave it my own twist, while still managing to keep Poirot happy. I sent him chapters as I wrote them, so that explains why so many of them end on cliffhangers.
In the end, Poirot wanted a darker and more forbidding ending than I was able to provide, given my intention to publish the book commercially, so I wrote him a customised epilogue, which can now be found in my Members Area (see the link at the top of the page). But fair warning: don't read it before you read the book, it contains spoilers. And even then, you might want to think twice - it is not a Happily Ever After.
