The Author's Story
If you read a novel by me called Attention Seeking Behaviour, Totally Coached, Naughtier, or Kaylee Gets Room-mated – or a short story called Daddy Drills His A-Cup Angel – and you’re wondering whether they’re all the same, then this is for you.
Hold on. It might be a long ride.
The story of our 19yo heroine getting Daddy to take her photo topless was first published as Totally Coached, but that’s not where it all began. Given the taboo subject matter, I never planned to publish it on Amazon. I only ever intended it for Literotica and StoriesOnline. I also only intended it for 15K words, and yet somehow it got to 41K, so go figure.
I don't read incest myself - not my kink - though I have read some of Bob Lubrican's because I enjoy his style. It's so very popular, so I thought why not? I needed motivation, though, because it's hard for me to channel sexy on a daddy / daughter relationship.
Inspiration came in the form of one of my favourite TV dramas, with a beautiful young supporting actress playing one of the daughters and a superbly hunky older man playing Dad. I won't say which drama, maybe you can guess. But I know what I'd be thinking about on set if I was that daughter. Initially I thought about writing this as two actors doing a roleplay, but I quickly discarded that. I found the incest pretty easy to write once I had those two figures in mind. It just sizzled onto the page.
I wrote the initial draft using the characters’ names from the TV drama and called it Attention Seeking Behaviour. That version was only ever read by the members of my writers’ circle and was never published. I still have the original text in my email history, but that’s the only place it exists. Maybe I’ll pull it out one day and recompile it for superfans.
Talking to my publisher at Uruk Press, we figured I could publish it on Amazon with a few tweaks, namely watering down the father-daughter relationship to foster daughter and changing the names to avoid a link to that TV drama. The daughter became Margy, the (foster) father became her high-school coach, we lost about a gazillion ‘Daddy’s, and the title became Totally Coached.
I was never happy with Totally Coached. Dancing around the incest ban on Amazon is hard, and marketing such a book is harder still. I wanted to publish the original, as close as possible to how I’d intended it, and so came the next release on Smashwords, called ‘Naughtier’ which was also later published on Lot’s Cave. In Naughtier, the daughter was now called Steffi (there’s a clue there – it’s similar to the TV character’s name) and Dad became Tim (another clue – it’s the actor’s real name).
When I split from Uruk Press, all my books came down from Amazon, including Totally Coached. I didn’t initially republish it under my own account because I simply wasn’t happy with it. The whole coach vs foster-father dynamic was confusing. I revisited it in 2022 during some idle moments and had an idea to simplify the relationship plot, leveraging the popularity of roommate romances in the title. I benched Coach and replaced him with church deacon Deke, renamed Margy to Kaylee, and replaced the real Petite Gone Wild sub on Reddit with fictional A-Cup Angels. Otherwise, the book – now called Kaylee Gets Room-mated – is substantially similar to Totally Coached.
I wanted to offer something new with the re-release, just in case owners of Naughtier or Totally Coached accidentally bought it (despite the disclosures in the blurb), and so I decided to write a bonus chapter. A few readers had commented on Dad’s/Coach’s saintliness in putting an end to the photo shoot when Steffi/Margy was topless and virtually throwing herself at him.
What if he hadn’t? What if he’d just given her what they both wanted?
And so was born the alternate reality follow-up – Daddy Drills His A-Cup Angel.
There are two versions of Angel– one with Steffi and the other with Kaylee. It’s a bonus chapter I never intend to publish on Amazon, so there was no need for the foster-father subterfuge. Dad is just Dad in both versions; there are no other differences. The Kaylee version is on my website as a bonus download for Amazon readers, while the Steffi version is on Smashwords with a discount coupon for owners of Naughtier. Or at least that’s what I hope will happen – at time of writing, I’m just rolling all this out. Watch for updates on my website.
There, all clear now? This is why incest is illegal in so many jurisdictions and censored on Amazon; it’s too damned confusing.
